Globalization is affecting almost everything in the world today in a positive way by mixing cultures, beliefs, people, and ideas together. An example of globalization we see all around us today is the evolution of technology, we use our technology everyday, I see myself and others using technology for most hours of the day, from texting to using a laptop to take notes in class, research, listening to music almost everything. Technology is a huge factor in today’s society and it is growing more and more everyday. We use a laptop/phone which is not made in Canada, and is manufactured from a different country, apple makes it sales in so many different countries which it is all manufactured from China, this is also an example of how technology is growing. It has opened up more career opportunities and has sped up international process, government and legislature laws and processes. We have more access to information and to knowledge. All technology is economically growing and helping everyone as a whole globally. It has become much easier and faster to share information worldwide. Through social media, we see the diversity of different cultures, and it is all resulting in a positive manner, LGBTQ is more accepted in today’s date and we see that everywhere from the news to social media. We have a better understand of many cultures, all this new information would have seem alien to us a few years ago but because of the awareness on technology it is accepted in today’s day and age. It is so easy for us to communicate with people instantly, so many businesses and individuals can share their work globally online, and the it is so easy to find audience for your work if it fails to become successful in your local area.
